The pandemic has given me lots of time to make music in the peace and quiet of my off-grid studio, but put a lot of obstacles between my music and its audience. Not only have all of the gigs been canceled, but because all of the libraries and cafes are closed, I can only access the internet in my car, when I’m parked in front of the closed library in town. It’s awkward and uncomfortable with the laptop propped up on the steering wheel, and the connection is slow, so working online has become even more tiresome than before, and I can only handle so much web-work on my weekly trips to town.
