On Saturday September 29, at 5pm in the House of Nice Hair Salon, at 712 5th St in Eureka , CA, I will accompany dancer, aerialist, performance artist (and Eureka City Council Member) Leslie Castellano in her production of an original work titled: Free School of Future Communion.
Leslie is an amazing artist and this unique performance offers a great example of what I love about her work. It is challenging, engaging, humorous and highly original. During this performance one member of the audience will get their hair washed by a professional, and everyone will get to peel and eat a hard-boiled egg. Leslie will transform herself, through dance and costume, into a rhinoceros and a pigeon, among other feats. I will accompany this spectacular extravagance on didgeridoo and assorted noise toys.
