  1. I have not been able to understand Fennel’s popularity but I know it is strong and wide. I, too, cannot vote for her. I supported Clif Clendenon last time. I don’t know, maybe Humboldt CPR and the Reaganites who support it are more numerous than I had expected. Bud’s a little scattered at times but he’s a good guy and I’ll vote for him. Thanks for articulating the obvious when few people seem to want to.

      • Connecting the dots of local frauds is easy in a backwash county full of political inbreds.

Peter Fennel follows in Estelle’s footsteps as a media personality.

Must be a popularity, name recognition thing no different than Reagan, Schwarzenegger and Trump. Being an on air voice promotes recognition.

If a humboldtian was on that train in France and had thwarted a terrorist attack, no doubt during election time as a candidate would voters recognize.

        Name recognition is primary.

  2. haha, thanks John, once again.
The picture of the puppet, and where it was held, then the picture of the pizza box…hmmm, reminding me of the Olde D*** -In-Box joke…

So if Estelle is bringing you a free pizza, you would never expect that joke, right?…until you open it and up pops a Lee Ulansey doll.

(I am not suggesting this for your mad photoshop skills, but…)

And then, seeing the photo of Ulansey with the handshake that pulls the other person’s hand so very very close, to Honor His Magnificence and show who is the boss, who has to stretch to make contact, and who is the tug of war Winnah…uurrrk. Or maybe he is just tired or his shoulder hurts….or maybe she just can’t stay away..I dunno.

You know who else does that handshake?…Saddam Hussein.

No, I am not saying Ulansey is just like Saddam Hussein!…one of them is an arm twisting narcissistic monster. Such a person could never live here of course.
Then again, we once hosted and sheltered Rios Montt, the preacher man.
